This agreement is between you and Zouti Technologies LLC ("we") for the version of Zouti Photos downloaded from zouti.app, including its 14-day trial. If you bought Zouti Photos on the Mac App Store, Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement applies instead, and this page does not.
The trial
You may use the trial for 14 days from its first launch, with every feature, to decide whether to buy. When the trial ends the app stops opening libraries until a license key is entered. You may not reset, extend or work around the trial period.
Your license
A license key is a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Zouti Photos on up to three Macs that you own or control, for your own use, personal or commercial. It does not expire, and updates are included. You may move it between Macs by deactivating one and activating another; you may not share it, sell it, or let others use it.
You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app, remove or circumvent its licensing, or redistribute it. The app and its code remain ours; open-source components inside it are used under their own licenses, listed in the app under Help ▸ Credits & Data Sources.
Buying and refunds
Purchases are made through Polar, our merchant of record, which collects any sales tax or VAT and issues your receipt and license key under its own terms of sale. If Zouti Photos is not for you, there is a 14-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked: email support@zouti.app with the email address from your order. A refunded key stops working.
Your photos stay yours
Zouti Photos reads your Photos library on your Mac and sends none of it anywhere. It never writes to the Photos database; changes you make go through Apple's Photos interface, and deleting always asks first. What the app does with data is described in full in the privacy policy, which is part of this agreement.
Updates and support
The app can check for and install updates; it asks before doing so automatically. We aim to answer support email within a couple of business days. Neither updates nor support are guaranteed for any particular length of time, but a license you bought keeps working on the version you have.
No warranty, limited liability
Zouti Photos is provided "as is". We work hard on it, and it is designed never to modify your library without asking, but we cannot promise it is free of bugs or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the license. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply as far as they can. Keep a backup of your photo library, as you should with any software that touches it.
Ending this agreement
It ends if you break it, in which case you must stop using the app. We may change these terms for future versions; the version you have stays under the terms it came with. Questions go to support@zouti.app.
