Dates and time zones, GPS coordinates and reverse-geocoded places, camera and lens EXIF, keywords, albums, people and face geometry — down to the raw database rows behind each asset.
Search your library can't
A structured query builder with nested all/any groups over dates, places, people, media types, file size, scores, iCloud status and dozens more fields — plus full-text search across filenames, captions, keywords, people, places, and Apple's AI labels. Save the good ones to the sidebar.
Find lookalikes and near-duplicates
Filter to visually similar photos using Apple's on-device image fingerprints, pull up everything shot near a given spot, or keep only the best N photos from each day, month, or year.
See the AI data Photos hides
Search-index labels, machine-generated captions, scene classifications, and the dozens of quality and curation scores Photos computes for every asset. Plot the scores as a histogram or scatter, then drag a range to filter the grid.
Export files, your way
Export originals and edited versions into folder and filename structures built from metadata, using an osxphotos-style template language with filters, defaults, conditions, and variables. Preview every source and destination before a single file is written.
Take your data elsewhere
The Data Viewer turns the current grid into a spreadsheet with a deep catalog of columns — core fields, dates, location, people, EXIF, scores, AI fields, iCloud status — and exports it as CSV, TSV, or JSON.
Triage and fix
Flag and star-rate as you cull — stored alongside the app, never written into your library. Find photos whose recorded time zone disagrees with where they were actually taken, and read the metadata embedded in the original file on disk.

See at a glance which originals are only in the cloud, and force-download them — a single selection, or every missing original in the library, with progress and errors reported as it goes.
Hand work back to Photos
Add the current selection — or a whole filtered set — to a new or existing album, drag thumbnails onto albums in the sidebar, jump to any asset in Photos, or delete through Photos' own confirmation.
Export that follows your filing system
Point Zouti Photos at any selection or filtered set and describe the folders and filenames you want as templates. Dates, albums, keywords, people, places, camera, and status all become fields you can combine, filter, default, and branch on — the same ideas as the osxphotos template language, in a graphical builder with a live preview.

Powerful, but never careless with your library
Zouti Photos works entirely on your Mac and never writes to the Photos database. The few actions that change anything — adding to an album, setting a favorite, deleting — go through Apple's own Photos interface, which asks you first. Flags and ratings live in the app, not in your library. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
